good. good is how i am. i'm at work right now, but there's no work to be done, so i guess i'm just going to blaaaaaaahg.

school is going pretty well. i like the classes a LOT better, but i miss my friends. i visit athens a lot, so it's all okay. i'm going down again for halloween, and i guess i've been doing my part to stimulate the economy by spending way more money than i probably should on a halloween costume. I'm going to be EVA from MGS3.

so what's up with me not having electricity? it's been almost an entire week. i can only check my email and junk when i'm at work, and i haven't seen TV in days, not that i miss it all that much.

Our fridge is EMPTY, and i'm tired of having to little-house-on-the-prairie it with my parents every night. i was looking in a cabinet for more candles last night and my mom used her candle to light it up, and she spilled hot wax all over my hair and got some on my pants.

WHY is it that i have to be one of the last people in ohio to get their power back when i live in the middle of columbus.

so athens was fun this weekend. bohardt picked me up on his way from drew's house on friday after i got off work. drew couldn't make it. i miss that boy lots.

anyway, we went down and stayed until sunday, the main party was on saturday night. i think b-rad had about 4 days worth of birthday celebration. i'm definitely going to athens for my birthday this year. yay, 20.

amanda let me wear this really cute dress on saturday because i was wearing dirty tight black pants and a shirt that i kept sweating in. the dress was white and kept me cool until i went to bed at 3 am, plus i got a lot of compliments. i kind of like dressing like a girl sometimes. the only problem was that i had to either wear my ratty old red chucks with it, or go barefoot. i went barefoot. my feet turned freaking black by the end of the night.

i bought a subscription to vogue the other day for $15 for a year. i think it will be good for me. maybe i'll start looking good more often and making sweet portrait photos because i'm so inspired by the photos in vogue. we'llll seeeeeeee.

i'm in a happy mood today! yay!

i just downloaded the new death cab album and i think it is their best album yet! it doesn't make me depressed like all of the other ones do! maybe it's because i don't have strong emotional memories attached to it yet like i did with plans... i can't even listen to that one without feeling weird and sad. i fully recommend listening to narrow stairs.

i am at the horse show. it's raining and miserable. i don't even get to show this year because i'm so out of practice from being in athens. lamers. anyway, i'm 'bouts to check the radar because there is no way that it can stay this rainy for much longer. i want sun dammit. if it doesn't clear up, i might need to sneakswig some more rum from the "coctail cooler" in the tack room. god bless the fact that julee used to be a bartender and likes making fuzzy navels for all of the ladies at the barn.

comfest was fun!

i hung out with dorian and chris and some of their friends, and then james came hung out with us for a little bit. i got rained on, and then i dried out, and i also ate a giant turkey leg.

i saw some friends, and i also saw the most breasts i have ever seen exposed at comfest.

so, finals suck. being mostly out of money sucks, too.

too much drama going on recently. bohardt got mad at bundy and threw his hard rock munich beer stein that bundy's dad got him from oktoberfest IN GERMANY out of the window. then bohardt kicked in bundy's window. he gave himself a huuuuge goddamn gash in his leg, and keep in mind that this was all in the middle of a party. so, bohardt was bleeding everywhere, and his girlfriend julie (who is drew's ex) is trying to stop him from bleeding and people keep coming in and just gawking and taking up space in the kitchen.

NOW. julie didn't think that bohardt needed to go to the hospital. the room was basically divided in half, people who wanted him to go and people who didn't. this whole time bohardt is lying on the floor if the kitchen bleeding. drunk people are everywhere. julie is basically too drunk to do whatever the hell first aid she was trying to administer (she actually brought down band-aids. fucking. BAND-AIDS. there was so much blood those things wouldn't have even stuck to his leg) and is fucking with bohardt's wound, and i, SOBER, TRAINED IN FIRST AID...

GET KICKED OUT OF THE GODDAMN ROOM.

i was fucking livid. i was walking to bundy about it outside, and sarah comes up to me and was like, "i'm supposed to tell you that drew drove julie and bohardt to the hospital." i was kind of pissed that no one even really made an effort to get me to help out, seeing as i was one of the only 100% sober people there, AND i'm trained in first aid. eric and jadach saw me ACTUALLY pissed for the first time that night. i don't plan on getting that mad now for another year.

so then we moved the huge beer pong table outside because the living room was all bloody. i kind of wanted to just go home and go to sleep, but i didn't want to be alone, and i knew drew would be all tweaked and pissed when he got back, and i wanted to be there to keep him calm. i decided to do drew's laundry so he could relax when he got back. i went upstairs and bundy asks me, "so what's the verdict? you want me to take you home, or do you wanna stay here and drink?"

"mmm, drink."

"atta girl."

so i drank a bunch of rum. laundry gets done really fast when you aren't coherent.

P.S. bohardt needed to get 4 stitches. it's a good thing we talked them into taking him to the fucking hospital.

i have a bunch of stuff to write about tonight! i can totally make a list! i love lists!

so, i was just filling out my "profile" on this blogger thing, and as an interest, i wrote "lower case letters." apparently, i am not the only person who likes lower case letters! i was so surprised! how weird is that though? people generally don't care about letters. i have always thought that capitalization put undue stress on certain letters, like the letter "i". why do you have to capitalize "i" when you refer to yourself? isn't that sort of egotistical? i have never liked capitalizing names either. the beginning of my name is no more important than the end. there is this african-american writer named bell hooks, and she never capitalizes her name for that same reason. i have always felt that sentences look uneven.

i got a new chain put on my bike today, thanks to james and bryant (who had fun with us and drove us places, including the bike shop to get a second replacement chain, seeing as we kinda messed up with the first one)! also, james gave me some sort of spoke card thing? i don't know. james thought i should have one, and he has three i think, so uh, i guess that's kinda cool. i lubs my bike! i am so happy i get to have her at school again, because, yay, it's springtime!

OH! i passed out today, which was kinda weird! zak came over when we were done fixing up my bike, and the three boys were watching a clip from some movie with the rock punching a bunch of small asians (i think it was called the rundown, let me know). i was in the hallway walking toward them, and the next thing i know, i was on the floor. the weird thing is, i feel fine. i felt fine all day. anyway, they didn't even hear me fall because the video was playing so loudly, so we aren't even really sure how long i was out. they just kinda turned and saw me on my face on the floor. the bad news is, my nose really hurts, and i split my lip a little bit. oh well?

james' cat is still really round and cute!!! also, it's always sunny in philadelphia is hilarious as fuck.

I SAW A SHOW TONIGHT with dorian, zak, james, and a few of james' friends! xiu xiu was headlining at skully's, and the opening bands were thao with the get down stay down, and some local-ish band called el jesus de magico. christ, did they kinda suck. the singer wasn't even really singing, and he was super cocky on stage, like he thought he was jim morrison. he kept pulling jim morrison moves. they sucked. the bass was way too drone-y. xiu xiu was alright, i'm not going to put them down... HOWEVER, thao with the get down stay down rocked the house. holy shit, what a great band. they worked perfectly together. plus, thao was pretty freakin' cute. i loved her! i think that's about all i have for tonight... i have an appointment at the dentist's tomorrow morning, and that's gonna suck. i hate cleanings. the whole pick-at-your-gums thing just sort of makes me uncomfortable, like scraping fingernails on a chalkboard. my spring break is almost over, and that makes me sad. i did have a really good break, though.
